Did you know post 5

Classes start tomorrow...
so you might have to start studying (aka summer's over, get to work!)
Now some people think that St. Olaf is similar to Hogwarts, so, if you want to feel like a diligent witch or wizard, just grab your cauldron and spell book and setup camp in the Library reference room. Huge windows, a high ceiling, stacks of books, and long tables are accompanied by huge portraits of St. Olaf's past headmasters... I mean presidents. It's the perfect place to earn that diploma. (Good luck with your O.W.L.S.)

Did you know post 4

St. Olaf has a chapel service every weekday and Chapel Secretary, Nancy Partin, always has candy on her desk.

Also, Evangelical Lutheran Worship (The new red one) hymn number 731 "Earth and All Stars" was written by an Ole, about St. Olaf.
(Don't believe me? Check out verse 3 and see for yourself!)

Did you know Post 2

The St. Olaf fight song, "Um Ya Ya", is the only college fight song written in 3/4 time (which means it's a waltz)

And since it's a waltz it doesn't sound that fight-like... (Compared to "On Wisconsin" it sounds like a lullaby) but in what other fighht song do you get to say "Um Ya Ya" 14 times?!

(There's an underground version of the song with alternate lyrics, ask your JCs!)
